RESOLUTION
BAY
Established in the 1950’s, Resolution Bay is family owned and operated offering a collection of rustic kiwi baches and trampers huts that time has past by.
When in season, guests are often lucky to view dolphins, penguins, seals or whales from the jetty, you can feed the tame fish at our private marine reserve, experience glow worms in a local cave or explore the bay in our complimentary kayaks.
Getting here is a breeze - 1 hour boat ride from Picton, or a 2 hour walk from Ships Cove along the Queen Charlotte Track.
ACCOMMODATION
Our baches are our most popular option, ranging from fully contained to partially contained depending on your groups needs.
Each bach is located in a unique spot across the bay with a range of ocean, bush and garden views.
The Huts are named after our many trampers who have sought a warm but simple nights rest while on the QCT.
We have four Huts available for booking, each containing bunk beds and an attached toilet/hand basin with shared cooking and bathroom facilities.
LARGE GROUPS
We can cater for up to 40 pax across our Baches & Trampers Hut.

We stayed in paradise at Resolution Bay hiking the Queen Charlotte track. Heaven.
This was one of the best places we have ever stayed, so comfortable and peaceful, tranquil location and amazing views. Highly recommend!
